SAS frontiers speaks with Prof Roberts about her work on black female sexuality

"What’s so dangerous about Black women’s sexuality? That is the question Dorothy Roberts posed in a two-part lecture series, sponsored by Penn Humanities Forum and the Alice Paul Center for Research on Gender, Sexuality, and Women, that probed “the policing and punishing of Black women’s sexuality,” and the current policies Roberts says are sustaining fearful stereotypes of Black female licentiousness, a state of oppression that impedes sexual liberation on a broader level. "
