Cameron G. Brickhouse is a William Fontaine Fellow of Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a native of Richmond, Virginia. Cameron graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Anthropology and African and African American Studies. Her research interests include early 20th century African American women's intellectual and cultural history, representations of Black female corporeality in 19th and 20th century American expressive arts, and public history.
