Marginalized Populations Conference

October 19-20, 2017

Perry World House

This conference has two aims: to bring together scholars and activists from several highly diverse societies to examine the role of state and popularly organized violence in the lives of black populations, and to highlight the coordinated efforts of Penn faculty across several schools, centers, departments and programs to address social and political problem—the disproportionate use of state violence upon marginalized populations—of global concern.
