Brown made history in 2022 as the first Black woman since Katherine Dunham to direct and choreograph a Broadway show, "for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf." Now, she brings her exceptional talents to UPenn for two extraordinary days as the Artist in Residence of the Center for Africana Studies.
