Dr. Tukufu Zuberi was recently interviewed by the Moroccan news site Article19.ma while at an international conference discussing Maghribi Diversity and Identity. Dr. Zuberi is Professor of Sociology and Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, and among the interesting topics he spoke about were his experiences shooting a documentary, his research in Mali, and the importance of recognizing Morocco as one of the great African kingdoms of antiquity.
