Black Perspectives, the award-winning blog of the African American Intellectual History Society (AAIHS), is hosting an online roundtable on From Rights To Lives: The Evolution of the Black Freedom Struggle, edited by Françoise N. Hamlin and Charles W. McKinney Jr. The roundtable will run from July 14 to July 18. It will feature essays by Africana Studies at Penn Prof. Marcia Chatelain, Brett Gadsden, Wesley Hogan, and Shannon King. At the conclusion the editors will respond.
