African Languages Workshop

On May 30, John Myhill, C’84, who has been teaching at the University of Haifa in Israel since 1995, gave a presentation to Penn African language instructors about his research focusing on Nilotic languages, particularly Dinka and Bari. He is working with people in South Sudan to develop these as written languages. Audrey Mbeje, director of Penn’s African language program, organized the workshop.
