On Saturday, May 18, Africana Studies and the Black Alumni Society held a Alumni celebration to celebrate the past, present, and future of Africana Studies at Penn. Alumni had the chance to meet with Africana Studies faculty and hear two-minute lectures on their latest studies and other topics.
The faculty who presented were Michael Hanchard, Audrey Mbeje, Deborah Thomas, Herman Beavers, Mary Frances Berry and Margo Crawford.
