Rivke Jaffe will be visiting Penn to have a conversation about her new book, Rule of Dons: Criminal Leaders and Political Authority in Jamaica. She will be in conversation with Deborah Thomas and Alessandro Angelini on Thursday, October 17, between 3:30 and 5pm, in PCPSE Room 625.  She’s a wonderful scholar to think with, especially for scholars working on cities and political authority in the Caribbean.
