Vanessa Rosa de Araújo is a master’s student in Society and Culture at the Federal University of Bahia. With a background in theatre arts, she is researching Black comicality and joy rooted in Afro-diasporic and Indigenous culture and ethics. She is being supervised by Professor Keisha-Khan Perry (Africana Studies).
