Join us for a discussion with Errol Henderson, author of The Revolution will not be Theorized: Cultural Revolution in the Black Power Era, John King, author of The Breeding of Contempt, and Stanley Branche Jr., son of a renowned civil rights lawyer who worked with Malcolm X.
Prof. Henderson will examine Malcolm X's impact on Black Power Theory and his enduring influence on contemporary thought. King will reflect on Malcolm X's influence on the Nation of Islam (NOI) in Philadelphia and its broader historical significance. Branche Jr. will share insights on his father’s connection to Malcolm X.
