Daina Richie-Troy, W’98 is the Director of Penn Spectrum Programs and Shared Interest Groups. She serves as the ex oficio Secretary of the James Brister Society, an alumni leadership group advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion practices at the university. She co-teaches the History of People of African Descent at the University of Pennsylvania with Dr. Brian Peterson and Rev. Dr. Charles Howard through the Department of Africana Studies. She was a member of the staff of Makuu Black Cultural Center for many years. Prior to entering higher education, Ms. Troy enjoyed a career in urban music and marketing. As a Penn alumna, and a member of the Black Alumni Society. She holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School with a concentration in marketing and entrepreneurial management.
