Renato da Silva Souza

Renato da Silva Souza is completing his master's in social history at the Federal University of Bahia. Working under the supervision of Professor Vanicléia Silva-Santos (Penn Museum and Africana Studies), he is researching the illegal slave trade between Bahia and Benin in the nineteenth century.
