On February 23, 2024, The 2nd Annual W.E.B. DU Bois Lecture in Public Social Science will take place. This event will be a conversation with guest speaker Dr. Aldon Morris, the Leon Forrest Professor of Sociology and African American Studies at Northwestern University and author of: “The Scholar Denied: W.E.B. Du Bois and the Birth of Modern Sociology", and Dr. Tukufu Zuberi, Lasry Family Professor of Race Relations in Africana Studies and Sociology.
This is a co-hosted event between Africana Studies, Annenberg School of Communications, the Sociology Department, and the Wharton Coalition for Equity and Opportunity
