Benjamin Jealous is a Practice Professor with the Annenberg School for Communication, the School of Social Policy & Practice, and the Department of Africana Studies. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Sierra Club. He served as President and CEO of the NAACP from 2008-2013.
Rita Coburn is a Peabody and Emmy Award-Winning Director, Writer, and Producer of radio, television, and film. She was the co-director and co-producer of "Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise" (2016) and director of "Marian Anderson: The Whole World in Her Hands" (2022). Through her work, she uniquely addresses topics from a multi generational lens with a passion for impacting others through the untold stories of prominent figures and key ideals relevant to African-American culture.
She is currently working on a documentary about W.E.B. Du Bois.
