Join Lotus, a student group dedicated to studying the Black Freedom Tradition at Penn, for the screening of an original documentary called To Fulfill the Unfulfilled, To Answer the Unanswered: The Revolutionary James Baldwin, which was produced by the Saturday Free School for Philosophy & Black Liberation to commemorate Baldwin’s birth centennial in 2024. After the screening they will host a discussion on how he must be seen not just as a literary genius, but as a revolutionary and freedom fighter who has a message for our time.
